I love LOTR and watching this whole performance live was magical!

Whenever I reread the books, this is the kind of adaptation I most want to see. Intimate, warm, the feel of sitting round the fire, instruments in hand, sharing songs and stories.

J’ai peur que cela casse trop l’univers le l’histoire, pourquoi il y a t’il de la musique pop ? Ce n’est pas The Shire ! Est-ce que la pièce vaut vraiment le coup ? Est-ce que ça chante beaucoup ? GOD I wish I could have seen it at Chicago. I was just too far away and too poor to have made the journey. I will bitterly regret that these sorts of things don’t get filmed… it looked absolutely beautiful.

I saw this yesterday and the show was fantastic. Ironically the vocals for this number were a bit low - not sure if the mix was wrong.

Im pretty sure there was one each when i left. Mind you - the car was still there then, maybe they took it.

I never thought a musical about Lord of the Rings would emotionally move me... but it has. The mix of Celtic/Irish music really fits within the world of Middle-Earth. I really hope I see this show if it ever tours one day.

I'm so glad you produced this play when you did, as I was lucky enough to have booked a weekend in London during that period. We found out about this play, made room to go see it and ended up being the highlight of that weekend! Samwise, you still owe me some Old Toby for my pipe!

I wish I had known this show existed. My dad and I saw the original production at Drury Lane. My dad died two weeks ago. I would have loved to insist that he come visit me and see this show. He wouldn't have driven the 3 hours, lol. But this show is so special to me.

I love this! I'm confused on one thing - is this song original to this production, or is this part of the 2008 Lord of the Rings musical? Or are all of the songs for this production adaptations of that shows music? This is not a question of judgement, it is just me trying to clarify my own confusion.

I can't look at this and not laugh at it. I won't say anything about music, but it's funny to look at this nonsense.
